So you think Christians are going to displace the Muslims (and Jews, and non-practicing Alawi with new-age-ish beliefs or whatever you want to call Bashar Assad) in Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, and Egypt in the future and conquer and enslave them? Even President Dubya wouldn't do that, nor even the N-Zs; it's hard to imagine any future Christian leader thinking it was a good idea.

I'm sure many of the current governments will be replaced, and borders will shift, but I'm willing to bet that if the Middle East is ever no longer run by Muslims and Jews, it will be because a new religion arises (or most of the world gives up organized religion) or because national boundaries disappear (or some other massive change to the way sovereignty works), not because of a Catholic invasion.
