As the cycle of life continues on
Spring brings new flowers for dew to fall upon
The last new world seems like an eon
And today we argue about how many tournies we don't want to join.

Oh how I long for the days of long ago
When I played Holywar against many a strong and mighty foe

Now comes spring, a time of new
Holywar has become a game of few

How many days of sitting for marriage
How many tix spent counts as a justice miscarriage

When once many a XP Hero I could get
Now the last battle I seem to forget

As I have forever entwined
Holy War and spring as bright as the sun shined
It too shall end
As the scorching sun of summer is just around the bend.
Just here to spread hate and discontent

OK, moving on now...

Here goes, anything for a giggle, though I aint no Wordsworth...

A strengthening beaming smile
Through many a desert
Mile after mile
Follow the cross
fear not the loss
Of lambs a-gamboling
'Neath the budding willow weeping
As again the Knight rising
Bids adieu to the pillow
The vale in blossoming green forgot
As the dune now his lot
Where Perch should be found
'Neath the butterflies wing
The wadi vultures do sing
Fare thee well
SnowDrops and dew
Daffodil, calf and foal
Holy War, Jerusalem the goal
There comes a point... :cursing:

Springtime,springtime everywhere
the joy is what we want to share...
with all the nice people in Holy War

We paint the Sb in lime green
and choose the new may queen
we drink wine and mead the whole night
till we fall asleep by the first sunlight...
so celebrate people springtime in Holy War

Then we watch the tournaments this spring
we cheer and roar at the people are winning
and enjoying for a bit
the little benefit..
its peace in Holy War

But the battle in Jerusalem is coming
and when the Holy Battle will begin
its war-time again
and all spring festivals are ending.

...here in Holy War

Oh holy war,oh holy war,
I"m looking for an ewoman,
that can cook
and I can e-love,

don't care about the tixxes,
nor the missing workpay,
I'm looking for an ewoman,
to send sweet spam to me all of the day,

oh holy war,oh holy war,
please bring back the battles,
the cows and little promos too!

*applause*

I vote for jerr's one,it's the best poem I"ve ever read, you should introduce poems in the game also, maybe a tixx for the poem to be written on your hw tomb
Instead of proposing a penalty, Socrates instead proposes a reward for himself: as benefactor to Athens, he should be given free meals in the Prytaneum, one of the important buildings which housed members of the Council.

And that's why tixxers should pay my premium.

i actully wrote this poem to incourage recruting to my order Sarmy but didnt go so well :P

The Saracen Army With All Its Might
Is Recruiting so it can go to war and fight
So i ask friends lurking in the shadows of the night
Hold hands with us so very tight
And lets kill The enemies in our range of sight
Defending the holy land from worriers who wear white
calling their selves the army of light
but have no fear we have the advantage of the night
as we sneak up on them and give them a like no other fright
so i call upon Saladin's knight
we ride to war at the dawn of springs sunlight

This spring, you must follow these rules
In order to have success.
This spring, you must not break these rules,
Or you will be trapped in stress.

This spring, do all your plunders
For at least an hour or two.
This spring, you must get XP hero
It's how the high levels grew.

This spring, you must win a unique
and hold it for two weeks.
This spring, you must kiss a vamp,
But you cannot stand such freaks.

This spring, you must declare a war
Before everyone awakes.
This spring, you must milk the cows
before the morning breaks.

This spring, you must scrub your castle clean
And toss half the things you own.
This spring, you must spin the time forward;
An hour of sleep long gone.

This spring, you must intently watch
The season for all these things:
Daily Plundering. Hero growing
Unique winning. Freak kissing.

Battle awakening. Cow breaking.
Castle cleaning. Sleep loosing.

Spring.

The jury have retruned, I don't think we'll put them up in the Berlin Hilton next time. I think that's why they took 2 weeks to come to a decision! ;) 8|

Without much further ado the winners of the academy award for best poetry go to...

In third place... itsjustme

In second place... Earl Olidamar

*Opens the golden envelope to the sound of a drum roll* In first place... Soulless Lady [cue appluase]
